The Montenegro Bangladesh Business Council is invited to meet Bangladesh’s Prime Minister at November’s 4th Bangladesh Investment Summit 2021 in London.

Frenetic days ahead for Bangladesh’s diplomacy and business circles, as Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina left today for a two-week visit in Europe.
She will start in Glasgow on November 1st at the United Nations Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26), where she will attend the opening ceremony and address a key segment.
She will join a meeting of the Climate Vulnerable Forum (CVF) and others high level meetings like “Action and Solidarity”, “Women and Climate Change”, “Forging a CVF COP26 Climate Emergency Pact” among others; and hold bilateral meetings with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, and meetings with UK's Prince Charles, First Minister of Scotland Nicola Sturgeon, Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison, Commonwealth Secretary General Patricia Scotland, Sri Lankan President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, or civil society people like Bill Gates before addressing the anticipated “A Bangladesh Vision for Global Climate”, and leaving for London and meetings at Westminster.
On November 4, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the "Bangladesh Investment Summit 2021: Building Sustainable Growth Partnerships", where the High Commission for the People's Republic of Bangladesh in the UK invited us, the Montenegro Bangladesh Business Council, 100 meters away from the House of Lords, House of Commons, Westminster Palace.
This is a great honour for MBBC to be present at a such important summit, aimed at showcasing Bangladesh’s exceptional growth, strengths, and opportunities to British investors for luring greenfield investment in its emerging sectors toward a sustainable and low-carbon economic growth.
On November 9, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will leave London for Paris to meet French President Emmanuel Macron at Elysée Palace and witness the signing of three deeds.
She will meet as well with French Prime Minister Jean Castex, or on November 10 with Airbus CEO Guillaume Faury, Dassault Aviation president Eric Trappier, and Thales president Patrice Caine.
On November 11, she will attend the Paris Peace Forum and later, she will go to attend the "UNESCO-Bangladesh Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman International Prize for the Creative Economy" awarding ceremony at the UNESCO’s Headquarters.
On November 12 Sheikh Hasina will go to the Paris Peace Forum and attend a high-level panel discussion on South-South and Triangular Cooperation, and later, go to the UNESCO’s Headquarters to attend the inaugural session of the 75th founding anniversary of UNESCO where she will deliver a speech.
In this 50th anniversary of Bangladesh independence, 2021 sees a strengthening of Bangladesh position in the world thanks to its development being given as an example of how a country can succeed, and its resilience facing Covid-19. Several roadshows around the world have been organized this year to present Bangladesh’s economy and its opportunities.
