GDP of Montenegro for 2021: +10.8%!

On October 5th, The World Bank revised all its 2021 GDP projections for Europe and Central Asia due to “a surprisingly strong rebound in the first half of this year” boosting the economy.

Regarding Montenegro, the peak tourism season has been stronger than expected and helped all the sectors of the economy.

If 2022 and 2023 show the same level of tourism recovery, GDP growth is expected to be at 5.6% and 4.8% respectively.
