The new NCSI puts Bangladesh ahead of many western industrialized countries in terms of cybersecurity management and prevention.

Established to evaluate cyberattack readiness, cyber events, criminal activity and major crisis management, The National Cyber Security Index (NCSI) saw Bangladesh reach the 38th position ahead of countries like India, Australia, Sweden, Turkey, Argentina, Brazil, United Arab Emirates, or China.

Bangladesh’s cyber security capabilities is growing and getting international recognition. In charge of the country’s cyber security, the “BGD eGov CIRT” is coordinating and responding to all cybersecurity incidents, and serves as a catalyst in organizing national cybersecurity resilience.
